Noah’s Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary, often referred to as Narps is a foster based rescue that doesn’t shy away from difficult cases, often facing very high medical costs or long term foster placement for rehabilitation needs. Jax’s Labrador Retriever Rescue was founded to rescue Labrador Retrievers, Lab Mixes and other sporting breed dogs from the heart-breaking conditions of shelters. Our particular focus is on less “Labby” looking mixes, harder to place dogs, and those that have a more difficult time getting adopted, but absolutely deserve the chance to escape the shelter and find a safe and loving home. Anyone who has ever owned a Lab or Lab mix knows how precious they are, and the positive impact these dogs make on the families who rescue them. With your help, we can end the dismal cycle of abandoned and abused shelter dogs, and place these dogs in the safe environment where they belong.
J & Co. Rescue
J & Co is a small non-profit rescue making a big difference in the lives of the dogs we save. Our program is foster based with pet lovers across the east coast aiding our mission. Our mission is to not only save, but to educate people along the way; overcrowded shelters, puppy mills, recognizing/reporting neglect & abuse and the importance of spay & neuter. Additionally we help low income families by providing resources and references for low cost basic vetting, prescriptions, spay/neuter surgery, etc.
Zoe’s House, Inc. is a non-profit animal welfare group comprised solely of volunteers that generously volunteer their time, their homes and their hearts. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected or abandoned animals from high kill shelters or from owners who can no longer care for them. We provide the animals with loving foster care, veterinary treatment and rehabilitation until we are able to pair them with compatible and loving forever homes. At times we also offer permanent sanctuary to those with special or medical needs and that are considered unadoptable Zoe’s House serves as a resource to our community and to our adopters by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spay/neuter, behavior training, nutrition, puppy mill awareness, heartworm preventative and breed education. Our organization also networks with other shelters and rescues. We try to assist other organizations when possible. Zoe’s House is not federally funded, and rely solely on donations to continue to rescue. Although we are not breed specific, the need to save Dobermans, Rottweilers and Pitbulls is ever growing; therefore, we have focused primarily on saving the lives of our beloved and majestic strong breeds.
